I have a long sleeve black t-shirt made of nice soft cotton, but it has a horrificly ITCHY embroidered logo.  It's completely unwearable as is, the only thing I can do with it at the moment is wear it inside out as a sleep shirt with a goofy white plop of interfacing on my chest.  I need to cut it out to do anything with it, but I'm not sure what to replace it with.  The embroidery is in an awkward spot on my breast, I think it will look bad if I just cover it with a faux pocket.  Any ideas?

Could you post a pic so we can see where the embroidery is? All I can think of is to iron some light weight fusible interfacing over the whole thing on the inside to cover all the itchy spots

Sure.  Here's the placement of the logo:

And here's a closeup of the offending interfacing.  It's literally an 1/8 of an inch thick, so I don't think covering it will help.  I have never seen interfacing or stabilizer this massive before!

I'm thinking about cutting off the top part of the front just below the logo, and putting in new fabric, but I'm not quite sure how I want to do it.
