Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

My gallery for groups 3 and 5!  Some of the photos aren't the best in terms of color - they look darker and have a warmer tone than in reality.

Melladh - deep northern blues and greens

Pieced Star - my first attempt at paper piecing - it was an experience!

sloth003 - Paintbox
I love doing these!  Matching up the fabrics is so much fun  Cheesy

donniesgirl - Wee Scotty
I think I'm going to put a couple of these on the ends of a runner with the Christmas Scotty fabric you'll see farther down  Cheesy

EnginerdLisa - Garden Fence in greens

carolmb - pinwheels and stars in brights

donniesgirl - raw edge circles in red and green
These were so much fun to match up and so quick and easy!  Extras for our wonderful organizer who also stepped into our group when we lost a member early on   Grin

How cool that I had a Christmas Scotty!

Uncut group and group after going into the blender  Wink

kbrison - stars in blue and yellow
These are MUCH brighter in real life!

alwaysinmyroom - Party Hats in red, white and blue
The first one of these I sewed came out small - I think I'm going to put it into a runner with the two more solid Modern Strings Carolmb sent me.

103 different fabrics plus solid white and only one duplicate because I goofed and used the same yellow in two of kbrison's blocks.

Once I got past my woeful feeling of inadequacy this was a blast!

Mine!  Gallery for Group 1

I went with a folded, appliqued kabuto (samurai helmet).  My husband had me fold our napkins (120 of them!) into kabuto for our wedding reception, so when I was thinking of the theme, it was the first thing that popped into my head.

Rockets -- using Japanese novelty print and a Japanese traditional indigo print

(The pattern on the left is more of a browny- taupe than it looks like here).

need to be ironed... but these are the final 4

I think all of the blocks are looking good!  carolmb--I really am so glad you posted your Celtic Twisted Block...now I have an idea for what is meant by mixing the colors!

I am also loving the Garden Fence blocks!

Sparkledust--such pretty colors and you did a fine job on those blocks!

I love the star that is being used for FoxyMama--those autumn colors are just gorgeous!

Love seeing everyone's fabric stash...

I love my garden fence blocks!  It is driving me crazy that I can't start on this swap yet.  Shipping my fabulous zipper pouch tomorrow, then starting on my fat quarter swap, then this one when that is done.
