Hello.  I have been crocheting for years and have made items for every family member and friend that I have.  I am more inspired when I am creating an item with an end use in mind.  I placed a few items on eBay and have had many lookers, but no takers.  I would like to start working towards craft shows but I don't know where to start.  Anyone have any helpful suggestions?  Thanks - Mary

HI Saxonpapastar!  What a brave new adventure to embark on.  I suggest checking out Craftster's CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE Board.  There is so much great advice and help over their for sellers from Product and Website Opinions, Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs, and Selling Crafts on Etsy.com.  Best of luck in your venture. Thank you so much for the direction.  I have also considered the Linus Project and other charity programs.  I appreciate the advice!

Charity work is where I focus a lot of my crochet time. Stress-free since I don't have to worry about sales, and rewarding and heart warming since you are helping others. Grin

I've donated to ProjectNightNight too, which includes buying or making a blanket for a child in need.  You could check out their websit, its pretty awesome!
