Made this necklace as a gift for our next door neighbor.  She works very hard, and has two children to care for as well.
None the less, she has been kind enough to take our garbage bags down the 65 steps from our condo and go across
the street to put them in the dumpster.  She does this because she knows both my husband and myself are physically
unable to do much.  I can only walk or stand for 5 to 7 min at a time or my legs collapse on me.  My husband has many
ailments and is also undergoing chemo therapy for cancer.  So for our neighbor to show such kindness is very much
appreciated.

Made each bead of this necklace by cutting the paper in patterned strips, rolling and gluing, then varnishing each bead
with 3 coats of varnish.  Then decided on a design, strung and added the jewelry clasps.  In the picture haven't yet
put the thread back thru the beads after tying them off, and then sealing the thread off.

What a lovely gift!  I love how colorful your beads are!

How wonderful to have neighbors who care and help each other.  Smiley
