I received from carolmb, who was gracious enough to offer to do two partners since we had an odd number of people.  I asked for a reversible apron for my son (who is about 2 1/2) for helping out in the kitchen & craft projects.  And here he is...

And not that this was at all intentional modeling, but you might notice that the cowboy quilt matches the rag quilt I made for him in the background.   Grin  I love that fabric.  Getting a two year old to sit still & model is difficult, so everyone will have to settle for an un-modeled version of the other side.  Smiley  It is cute frog fabric.

Thanks carolmb!

Am so happy you liked it! I had tons of ideas on my head, but trying to turn them into an apron was well beyond me.

I am still ranting and raving with the other little part I was working on. I think I have it figured it. am giving it another go this weekend. I have sewn and ripped the thing a part a few times. And think I have what the problem is worked out. One of the parts is not sized right, so when you sew it together and turn. POOF wrong LOL. I have adjusted and going to give it another go.

well and wonderment

What a great apron for a child!  I bet it will come in handy!  I love both fabrics, but especially the cowboy side!

Ohh so much happiness, I got my Apron from cmarion3 today. I love it and the little friend is just too cute to boot.

I will get better pictures when my camera charges....(had to use my phone) *signs*

I got a somewhat better picture once my camera charged. No worries dolly is fitting right in. She has a place on the bookcase now watching over everyone.

It's hard to tell the colors, but it has greens and blues and teals and is simply lovely.

well and wonderment

Carolmb I'm glad you like it...I seem to remember you liking the ocean/sea. This fabric, which is actually a curtain valance, seemed perfect. The doll, well she just joined in when I made her an apron out of scraps. Then jumped in the box.

As a tip, Christmas Tree Shop often has the cutest valances for sale and they make great aprons.

Carolmb also sent the greatest retro apron in green and dark red polka dots...tiny little dots. The dots make weird patterns in the photo and the colors are richer than the photo shows. It is perfect and lots of fun. I'm cooking spaghetti tonight and it is just the thing.

And detail shots, the hem is a neat scallop that makes the apron very special.

You both did a fabulous job with the binding...
