I love the necklines of pillowcase tops, but hate how they balloon out and make me look like I am wearing a moomoo.
Is there much that I can simply do to a pillowcase top to make it less.. moomooish?

I don't fancy elastic at my waist btw. it's a hangup of mine.

ugh, i know exactly what you mean!
the only time i tired making a pillow case dress, i almost threw it out as soon as i tried it on.
i think in the end just added a belt or a ribbon and it wasnt too shabby, but darts around the belly area (like princess seams that dont go all the way up and down) might work as well, as the reduce the fabric where its too much.
or darts like these, as they will make the top more fitted Smiley
