I'm Back Smiley
So for my friends 30th birthday was coming up he had gone through a rough year and I wanted to make him something that would cheer him up but didn't know what. I saw something similar to this that someone else had made and decided it would be a perfect gift for him. I made the whole thing for $35 dollars with some luck goodwill finds. Enjoy:

Case Closed

Open the case to show the manliness contained inside.

Contents:
- Hatchet (for manly things like chopping trees and fighting bears)
- 2 shot glasses (for drinking by yourself or with another gentleman)
- 1 Flask of Gentleman Jack (A gentlemanly drink if I ever had one)
- A case of Cigars (to smoke and look manly and not girly with little cigarettes)
- An ash tray (To not be a savage while you smoke your manly cigars)
- A deck of card (to play manly games)
- Poker chips (to make gentlemanly wagers)

Contents removed

When you remove everything all the routed out spaces are lined in a dark green felt.

And here are the cigars

Hope you enjoyed

What a cheery gift!

I am sure it will bring a smile to his face...particularly knowing that you put such thought and care into making it a special gift for him...nice selection of cigars (he can use his manly hatchet to cut off the ends! Grin) and excellent top shelf adult beverage! Grin

Had to "Rock" this, it's fantastic.  Now, I'm not a "gentleman" but I sure would love to  have it.

He really enjoyed it. His parents were visiting when I brought it over and his Dad kept trying to take the cigars (cause my friend has never smoked one). But all in all he really liked it. i was a little upset with the routing job because the bit kept walking down and getting a little lower so digging in deeper but I think I fixed it well enough. And the wood stained a bit spotty but I think it was just stuff in the wood because it came from a pallet.

Brilliant, Joe! And of course it's the hatchet that really makes it. Nothing says "I'm a real man" like wielding an axe!
