I got the book Sew Serendipity for my birthday. a few weeks later I picked up a bunch of fabric at a cotton fabric sale at jo-anns .

stitch n save M5292 pattern A with wide straps
I cut the fabric last year, when I was a bit chubbier. so the bodies is a little big. after I finished sewing it, I had to add gathers, to the sides and the straps .

The first skirt is my favourite, I love the way it fits and the fabrics used, but everything is so (Sew?) nice!
