Aw no, klg_jlg, that's annoying! And that they lost something makes it even worse. So sad.

Ewulotta, seriously, don't feel bad. I had lots of fun crafting the two pillow cases! But you are right, the birdies took quite some time. (No wonder they want 80+ bucks on etsy for these things.) Pro tip: Don't choose to "sew the pillowcase first, sew on birdies later for proper positioning!" Having one hand inside the darn thing all the time makes it sloooow work... and there were about three birds left when I thought of my seam ripper.

But these things usually just happen when I try new stuff. So, hopefully, the pillowcase I'll have to make for my kid (hah! hoping she'll get tired of it and I can keep it...) will be finished a bit quicker.

wow klg, sure it wasnt something they stole? That happened to me a few weeks ago tried to send a new mp3 player and some clothes to my mama in egypt....post office returned my box (which if you see the way I tape packages going to egypt, the damage to it was obviously non-accidental)....saw the mailman the other day walking around with the same mp3 player, and oddly, it even had the same strap I put on it for my mama....seems suspicious to me >.>

Woohoo!  Both the baby doll carrier and baby booties are finished.  Now I just need to find the time to wrap them up and get them shipped out.  Smiley

I am so looking forward to the shoes and the hat! I was just going through my Wist these days, and I realized that the first pair of handmade shoes that I wisted (when I first started my Wist, way back when) was made by Rlynn!

I just sent out the ABC for Eiseldora! It might take two weeks or something, though, so here is a little teaser (see, no pink!):

The preview of the hat is a lot cuter than my bunch of scraps... I am going to post action pics the day it gets here! Same with the booties. Such a lovely feeling to have things made for my babies by other people, and making stuff that others want in turn, I am really enjoying this.

Hah. That's rather serendipitous anna.wahnsinn! Smiley  I used a new pattern for the little baby booties.  They were a lot of fun to make but it amazed me how small they were when I finished and that was the size 2.  I need to get the shirts up that we received from Eiseldora.  Aria literally gasped for joy when we opened the package.  She loves dinosaurs and elephants are her favorite animal.  Smiley

My laptop died an untimely death.  I will try to figure out how to post photos using my new smart phone tomorrow!  My apologies for the delay in posting pics!  Aria has already worn both of her new shirts!  Smiley

Is there going to be another round? I'd like to keep going. I even bought a new sewing machine today. Okay, not necessarily just for this swap, but I'd love to use it for many things Craftster-related...
