So I have a great place to get awesome leather.  I always want to buy it and do so many things with it but I could never think of what.  Finally I got a...hmm im blanking on the name but the pizza cutter type thingy for cutting fabrics.  Anyhoo I decided to try out some leather post earrings since I am really getting into the jewelry making I would love to be able to use this great stuff for earrings.  Here are my first attempts.

They are made with natural leathers, the lighter brown is more of a suede type and the darker is more of a natural texture leather.  I really liked the way these came out and I was already thinking of new things like fringe or chandelier or even just other shapes.

A rotary cutter?

Could you share a picture where the studs are in place in the ears? I'm having a hard time estimating the scale. Pretty sure they look great though Smiley

I would've never thought to use leather this way in jewelry making. Thanks for sharing your project!
