Ok, I may have gone a teensy bit crazy with the aluminum cans after making a Diet Mountain Dew book mark for a swap.  Roll Eyes All that you see: the ring, set of earrings, & corset laced cuff bracelet were made from just one can of Monster Energy Zero Ultra. The lacing on the bracelet is stretchy. I was actually talked into trying it & it was rather meh but I liked the can so much I wound up buying a second one. Bet you can't guess what my next necklace will be made of~ lol I'm trying to think of a way to get the tab on the ring without making the ring any smaller. I'd love any ideas.

Time for some action shots~ (they show off the beautiful patterns that made me want to upcycle the can)

UPDATE:
I was having a super hard time trying to come up with an idea for a necklace & of course my first thought was: Beads! I scoured the net and only came up with 3-4 different designs & I had no clue & couldn't find a tutorial for how to do one of them. Not liking the severely limited options a bit I headed to work still trying to come up with ideas. About half way through the morning an older couple came in. At first I didn't notice but after looking again I saw the lady's necklace. As Gru from Despicable Me would say "Li~ght bulb". XD It was a very simple necklace with maybe five slightly bowing outward 'bars'. Here is what I came up with:

And now for the tut:
First I used an exacto knife to carve off the first piece

Then I used scissors to separate the rest of the flat part of the can from the top & bottom & cut the flat piece into the sizes I needed.

Next started bending back the edges by hand & squished them down.

After that I added the grommets.

All that was left after that was stringing it.

Cool looking jewelery.  I especially like the look of the earrings.
