I can't believe this dress only took me a day and a half! I found this fabric at a thrift shop and made a hybrid pattern from Simplicity 1873 and 1609... I redrew the scalloped collar from 1609 and used the bodice from 1873. I didn't have enough fabric for the skirt so I just made a simple pleated skirt from a long rectangle of the fabric.

I thought the colors on this fabric were pretty cool  Grin

I love that you cobbled together different patterns and added your own personal touches!  It really is a great reason to sew your own clothes, right?

You look wonderful in it...the skirt is so nicely done...good job...wonderful for the summer into fall as well!

Great job!  The dress looks fantastic, and the fabric is lovely.  I like how you have vertical & horizontal stripes.

I'm not a big fan of stripes for myself but girl, you look fab in this!  The colours and style suit you perfectly!  Grin
