Magnolia... the plastic I always use is actually from a clear make-up bag i had.  Its very bendy, so I have no problem sewing through it. 
I'm not really sure where to find something similar to it,    sorry i'm not much help!

Can you give us the measurements that you used?

The whole thing is 10 inches long and 4 inches tall.... thats a little long for a normal wallet, 9 inches is better for a non-stuffed wallet
The inside pockets vary from 2.5 - 3 inches wide and are all about 3.75 inches tall. 
For the id window I just measured around my drivers license and then gave myself extra room to sew it on.
