Is when you finish knitting it! I started this baby sometime last summer, and finally got around to finishing it last night! I love it, it fits so well, and feels nice.

The body and sleeves are Noro yarn, the black cuffs are... something I don't remember, purchased at Joanne's. The black yarn is thick and kind of "roving-y."

I received the Noro yarn for Christmas from my boyfriends parents two Christmases ago, knit a sweater that fit horribly and looked awful, frogged the whole thing, and then reknit this beauty! I wasn't about to waste good yarn on a sweater I was unhappy with Tongue

I hope you all like it! I'm off to work on the sweater I started for my best friend now. It has also been sitting on the needles for almost a year so I better hurry up and finish it too ^^;

It looks great (and so warm).  What pattern did you use?  I have my own half finished stripped sweater body (I just cannot seem to get the sleeves right) so your story is inspiring.

Thanks everyone!

As for the pattern, well... I don't really know!  Huh Haha.

I started off forming the v neck by knitting back and forth and later joined in the round. I don't think I did any shaping to the body since I wanted a loose fit. If you need help as you knit it you can ask me and maybe I can help as you go!

You winged the sweater?!!  WOW!  And, you used Noro yarn without a pattern...great admiration here!

It turned out really nicely shaped, and I just love the colors!

Your sweater came out so well! It looks comfy and wonderful for winter. (And inspires me to try making my own soon.)
