My practice run earrings worked out ok, so I tried out a more ambitious plan. I'm contemplating whether I should suspend something in the middle of the tear drop, or add... something? Your thoughts/ideas?

I love these! I think they look great as they are, but since there is a ring at the top, I think it would look nice with something dangling in the teardrop  Grin

These are so delicate! I think that since there is a ring you should add  something to use it or to cover it. Of course if you can remove the ring they are perfect this way!

They are so bueatiful and delicate! I think a teardrop-shaped pearl bead would look great with this design.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions... next time I hit the bead store, I will try to find something I like for the middle. I can't snip the ring off, for fear of making a jagged bit that would break my thread.

I have little skeleton key charms that would fit, but am afraid it will look overdone.

Beautiful as is but how about a small tatted "flower" hanging from a light chain, or a bead strand. Maybe with a bead in the middle of the flower to make it hang and swing well if need be?
