I'm finishing the final detail on my package!  So excited!  As long as the first day of college nonsense isn't too bad, I'll be at the PO at lunchtime...if it is, hopefully I can hit a Meijer station after work. Smiley  You would think that by the time people get to college, that they'd have this first day of school thing down pat. Cheesy

ummmmmm..................Surprise!?  I am so embarrassed!  Hanging my head in shame!  Embarrassed Embarrassed  Those of you who know what this post is for will probably be surprised to know that as embarrassing as this was, it is NOT the most ridiculously careless and stupid thing I've done in the last week.

Broke a needle on a my new sewing machine and while looking for it, realized it was through my fingernail and out the bottom side of my finger.  Lots of blood on a beautiful patchwork quilt.  Clean it up, get it sandwiched and quilted and sadly did not get it finished up for the dear friend who was about to have surgery.  Decide I'm going to get it done before her first chemo treatment - yeah right.  While trimming my edges to bind it, I had another doh! moment and somehow folded funny or twisted or something.........finished trimming, quite pleased with myself for producing such a lovely piece, pick it up to shake it out and two pieces fly off - yep, somehow I cut it into THREE pieces!

Think maybe I need to step back and take a few breaths - I seem to be a bit harried of late!  My most embarrassed apologies to my secret stalkee - I had a blast stalking, planning, and crafting, and I sure hope you love what I sent...........even if it's not such a surprise where it's coming from anymore.  On the upside, you don't have too long to wait - should be delivered Thursday!

Unbelievable but I managed to send the package right on time on Monday. I absolutely underestimated crafting with a 2 months old baby around.
Hope the package arrives soon - it has to take a long way across the ocean. Also I hope you, secret partner, will like it.

I'll swap for postcards, badges, maps or brochures from everywhere in the US! I'm an English teacher and always happy about authentic material for my classroom.
