I was bored today, so I made this Smiley  I got to leave work early, so I went fabric shopping.  I then got home and put this together in about 4 hours.
It's a pattern I made and had used before for another dress, so I changed it up a bit to make it maxi dress instead.  I loved the print on the fabric, with the detail on the selvage edge.  It still needs to be hemmed, but otherwise, it's wearable Smiley  I have a slip dress I wear under this, since it's sheer lol
EDIT: I added a "belt" to it and hemmed it.  I added a photo of me wearing it, since the dress form doesn't do it justice Cheesy

I love how you used to fabric to create movement in the design of the dress. Great job! I'm sure it looks fantastic on.  Smiley

Very pretty. The way you used the edging for the yoke and the front placket is particularly effective. Amazed it only took you 4 hours. Shocked

You have really made great use of the salvage edge. The addition of it as the belt really makes the dress. Well done!

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.
