I do not do a lot of wet felting, but I wanted to try wet felting some flowers. I had already done some flowers with just needle felting. After doing a few wet felting experiments, I decided to combine the methods. I much prefer starting with a partially needle felted "foundation" and then wet felting. There is a lot more control with the combined method.
Overall, I'm pleased with the results.

Most of the above are unfinished and just drying.

Can you tell which one was just needle felted??

Is it the one with the white center?  They're all lovey.  I can imagine a felted wedding bouquet.

Wonderful job! And my guess is the one second from the left in the top row (sky blue and violet)...?

Thanks!!  Grin Grin

The one with the white beads was wet felted using a circle resist - after initial felting I cut out the resist so that I had two felted circles from which to make flowers.

The sky blue and violet was first needle felted and then wet felted.

The flowers look lovely and very realistic!

I'm guessing the needle felted one is bottom row second from the end on the right side? Pink with a yellow center.

Haha! Do I win a prize?  Grin It has sort of a "needle felted" look to it. The tip off was the more rounded edges I think.
