Do most people use Etsy to sell crafts online or what is your favorite place to sell?

I have not joined the etsy bandwagon for selling.  I do go there for inspiration though.

Instead I have a fb page where potential customers can contact me and I have a website as well.

God Bless,

I sell at craft fairs. I make my money today, and I use my website for reorders.

There's NOTHING at a craft show, or on Etsy, anybody NEEDS. NOTHING.

I think for the kind of things you sell (from what I've seen of your posts), you would do well at craft shows (quality, useful AND decorative, but then again, you may already be selling at fairs). You could unload inventory at shows instead of hanging onto it waiting for online sales, which take time to build up even when you're a quality crafter. For online orders, you would have to deal with a lot of shipping/insurance issues and costs for your more breakable and large items. Certainly there's nothing against doing both shows and online at the same time, but sometimes you have to choose what to focus on.
