I've been working on this bag since before I even officially joined Craftster, but throughout all that time I had only completed about six or seven patches.  I decided it was finally time to get it out of the depths of the closet and finish it for the Summer Nerd Games.

It's not nearly as pretty, perfect, or intricate as sheepBlue's or other peeps' crazy ones, but each patch represents something that I like, so I guess that makes it special to me!  Cheesy

A couple close ups...you can't really tell that well, but the communicator badge is all metallic floss, and the flame on the shuttle is highlighted with gold floss.

I lined the bag and added a zipper, but I chose bad fabric...it's already super linty.  Inside is also a giant patch that I made into a pocket, and it is the perfect size to hold my phone!

I decided to use grommets and carabiners to attach the strap, which is just that by-the-yard belt material at the fabric store (I don't know the official name  Tongue).

Thank you to the Nerd Games, and all my fellow Craftsters, for helping keep me inspired to finally get this done!  Wink

Perfect is over rated, what you've got here goes beyond perfect, into "completely awesome".
