I tried my first bleach pen clothing project this weekend. I made myself and my son a shirt to wear on the 4th of July. The stencils I used for mine (from the Martha Stewart craft line) reminded me of fireworks, but it's not too theme-ish, so I think I can get some wear out of it this summer. The process was really simple, so I foresee other bleach pen projects in my future!

Oh this is cute! I agree that the stencil fits the holiday, but without making it a one-day-a-year-shirt. I like it!

That came out great! It sounds like the bleach pen is the secret to getting the fine detail.
