i'm planning to start with regular paper or possibly scrapbooking paper Cheesy

the envelopes will probably have a little wear as they travel to various locations, but that's part of the charm Wink
and yeah, fingers crossed that they won't get drenched in rainfall!

My envelope is DONE! And I think it came out pretty nicely. I was able to incorporate 5 things I discovered about my partner (from a wee bit of friendly stalking) into the art.
Now I just need to decide what to stuff it with, and I can mail it out!
Wohoo!   Cheesy

it worked! it worked! Aleene's tack it over and over creates a resealable envelope with a strong seal that will open without destroying the art work
That glue sounds pretty cool!

I plan on making my envelope too.   Smiley

I have a theme picked out for my envelope and plan to start arting it up in the next few days!  I also made a couple items to go inside, but I haven't decided if they're quite finished yet...they're only an element anyway, so more work either way.  Cheesy

I have a couple of envelopes drawn and waiting for further embellishment both are so very different I am having a hard time deciding which to send

Wow super speedy mail art should be the name of this swap!  I just started!   Sounds like everyone is getting along good though...

I've got my design started - but I keep changing my mind on the layout.  I'm actually finding the back of the envelope easier to layout than the front.

I'm making my own envelope, too.  I've made lots of little ones for ATCs, but this time I'm doing a bigger size - challenging and fun!
