Sailor Moon was the first anime me and my best friend fell in love with when we were kids. Last year I made her a 5 inch doll using someone else's pattern. This year I decided to create my own pattern and make the perfect Sailor Moon amigurumi. And I think I nailed it!

Her body was entirely made using a 2.70 mm hook, the smallest I've ever used. She is a little over a foot tall. This was also the first time I made a doll with hips and a bust lol. I REALLY wanted as many details as possible. Sailor Moon took about 4 days of continuous work, and in the end my fingers were super sore, but the look on my friend's face was priceless when she first saw her doll.

I've already started working on Sailor Moon's cute daughter Chibi Moon. Will share once she's done! I'm also making a mini Sailor Jupiter for a Craft Swap. So much Sailor Moon madness, I love it. ;3

Oh gosh this is amazing! Sailor Moon wasn't the first anime I'd ever seen but it was the first one I adored and I definitely adore your Sailor Moon! So cute! And I hope your friend loves her forever Grin

Wow! That's amazing!
I'm incredibly impressed!

Would you ever consider selling your Sailor-series patterns? I would love to make a Sailor Moon or Sailor Pluto for my friend's birthday, and yours are far and away the best I've seen!
