I got the cutest little lantern from Alpha Stamps, and decided to decorate it using a collage sheet made by our own Knickertwist!

I painted white stripes on the lantern using gesso, and added moss, faux flowers, and fairies from the collage sheet. I removed the back panel of glass from the lantern to make it easier to work in.

Tiny triangles of paper glued onto thread make colorful banners to string all around the top of the lantern and along the back.

Copic markers gave the white daisy ribbon coordinating centers. I sure love those markers!

Great collage sheet, knickers!  Smiley

Seriously adorable.  Between the two of you I'm going to need to order some of those lanterns and such from Alpha Stamps.

Wonderful! These remind me of the little jars of lightning bugs we used to catch in summer. Guess because of the name and the wings on the fairies. Invokes warm summer nights running in the yard with childhood friends. Smiley
