Have you seen my embroidery post in the needlework section with all the "mostly" animal skulls I've been embroidering for quilt blocks for a quilt for my son?  I saw this suggestion, and I was like, woah! Are you thinking just human skulls, or from anything?

i think it sounds awsome, thing is i keep picturing these painted animal skull thingies that my husband inherited from when his dad died. and also i watch the show oddities so it  brings to mind that type of stuff. i would have to ....omg i just totally got an idea! i mailed all my stuff from the five swaps i was in but havent gotten feedback yet, how does that work? do you have to wait for feedback from all? or can you participate in a swap as long as you got feedback from some if you were in five? i had a lot of swap ideas too that i posted but was hoping someone else could host them and maybe i could join, i have never hosted a swap before lol. i love swapping though! sooo much fun!

artista83, as long as you have received feedback from at least one swap, you can join in another. You can have up to 5 swaps at a time, so if you get feedback from one, then you are still in 4 with one slot open.  Each time you get feedback, you get a swap spot open.  There is lots of info about swapping in the swap guide, which I don't have open now to link you too, but answers questions like these.  Lots of times people will step up to host a swap if there is interest, but a swapper cannot/doesn't want to  host, but just participate.

Artista that's interesting that you thought of it that way. I thought more of embroideries, sugar skulls......see, that's why craftster is so awesome. Now you guys gotta wanna play!, imagine all the cool, cute, or creepy goodies we all could come up with!!

Ow! I hope you'll be doing better soon, artista!

I also hope this swap is later on, end of July or so....
