So my year anniversary came up with my boyfriend and i decided to sew him some awesome shirts. he loves bright colors but has to wear  button up shirts to his work. We both are Dr. Who fans so i thought that this would be a interesting choice.

so off i went to spoonflower to partake of their awesome fabric. sadly the fabric that came wasn't what i was expecting. The colors were not as bright and the black was more of a charcoal/washed black. The second fabric the pattern was just to large to make a shirt out of . but here is the first of the shirts that worked

sadly my first effort at the *simplicity pattern* for the mens shirt sucked big time. This was the second one and it worked up awesome like. I had to modify the pattern for the awesome tardis fabric.

thanks for viewing

heres a close up on the pocket  so you can see the pattern

Great Job.  Modifying a men's shirt pattern seems very ambitious but you rocked it Grin

Too cool.  And gives me an Idea of how I could make a shirt for DH!

Great job and he looks pretty happy with the results too. Cheesy
