So many awesome things being swapped! LOVE the ewok scoodie, Star Wars stitch markers, and the mini weeping angel. Love how something so terrifying could be made into something so cute! Grin

ack, i hate clumsy finger typing, I had a huge post ready to go and accidentally hit ALT+A and overtyped...arrgh...

OK to begin again, I got a fabulous package from WiseOne yesterday, it may have been here for a couple of days, as I wasn't, anyway in her wonderful psychic generosity she hit on the very best package for me... the bulk and the best part of the package was a teesha moore patch kit (plus some more patches that Susan made..she is so good at them, check out my pinterest, I have pinned loads of her work) plus a bag of embellisments for some hearts that she sent me in package one, to make heart strings. http://tammygilley.blogspot.ie/2011/12/announcing-stitched.html

the reason this is the best possible package for me is because I have recently bought a small terraced workmans cottage, to live in while I am at work (mon-fri/school terms)..this avoids a three hour round trip commute. The house is small, about 560 sqft, in total...and old, about 180 years old. It definitely has no room for a craft room, and very little room for even a craft corner, although that is a must!!...so projects like the heartstrings and the teesha moore patches are perfect as they need no space and only a needle and scissors...

so these are my goodies, first up, these gorgeous bags, she said that they are made locally, I particularly love the green one. Also in this pic is a great beaded collar, which my daughter immediately pounced on.

now the heartstrings stuff, Susan, sent me some 'blank' hearts in package one, although I loved them as they are, she sent me a big extension to them, in this one. Loads of beads, charms, sequins and a ton of great pompons and fabric yo-yo's...love these! they will be brilliant to do and to hang up in my new home (Made it more homely...living in two houses is very dislocating, we had to move up there prematurely at the weekend..and it was...odd)

slightly better picture showing the heartstrings and the yo-yos..

and now the teesha more stuff, here is all the goodies, but not showing all the fabric, I'd need to be standing on the roof of my house to  get all of it in the frame

she also sent me some finished patches, seriously, she is a genius at them, these are fabulous!

thank you so much WiseONe, for a fabulous package

EdelC - I'm soooo glad you like the DIY kits.  It's one of those things we seem to have in common...
must make something.  must make something.  must make something.

As for the heartstrings, when you have a chance, check out some of her other stuff.  This Tammy Gilley lady is amazing with her creativity and the amount of crafty art she produces!  Mostly happy happy colors and themes.  It doesn't look like she does the Joggles classes anymore, but if I pore over her photos and daily posts, I get more and more and more ideas.  She makes me want to do that fabric art journal pages swap that Smmarrt has proposed.

Edel, you can hold down Ctrl and tap the Z times to undo mistakes. It's called the oops combination. Sometimes you can do it multiple times.  Works in most windows applications and I do believe there is a Mac equivalent.
