Thank you Lindy.  They are actually from a panel.  They are supposed to be doorstops.  I just made them into stuffed animals.  I have another panel, so I can make more.  Smiley

Ack! I am so late to the game with posting pictures of the first package. So, here they are!

Here's everything:

A really cool bag of her own design. Perfect to throw in a bag, everything will stay inside and there are no snaps or zippers:

Her favorite fabrics (fat quarters):

Crocheted Totoro:

A fountain pen (I've always wanted one, actually, but just never bought one):

A monogrammed Name Badge (she does a lot of that sort of thing at work):

A mug rug:

A cat wall hanging based on her blue russian. It is already on our wall!

And two of her favorite books:

Mkay... so apparently, all I had to do to fix the camera on my phone was shut it down and turn it back on. So, I may be posting pics late but that in no way reflects on how much I LOVE everything. I was lucky enough to get the uber talented Mountains and Clouds as a partner. She resides in the beautiful state of Hawaii and her package reflects her tropical surroundings.

Here is all the loot in one pic. In the background is a gorgeous sarong/butt cover in my favorite colors. Hawai'ian sea salt! I can't wait to cook something with it. A shell lei for me (Marley has been wearing her's non-stop). An amazing embroidered photograph. Why have I never thought to do this before? A photo album of her darling Blythes. Thank you (that was sarcasm) because now my almost 6 has been watching Littlest Pet Shop and thinks she NEEDS a Blythe doll. Totally cute Asian stamp and erasers, PLUS some hand carved stamps of her favorite animals! Fabulous pocket/purse sized notebooks upcycled from greeting cards and old ATCs. A CD of her husband's Johnny Cash tribute band - cause music is their life! Also, the obligatory shot glass.

Here are some closer shots

One of the little notebooks with an awesome Bob Marley quote.

The stamps!!! And cool Asian stuff!!!

That embroidered photo. So frigging cool.

Thanks so much, Sara! I am hard at work on package 3 and trying to figure out what to do for package 2...
Now I can go browse the gallery cause I no longer feel guilty.

It's been a crazy month so far and I haven't been on the board too much. Everything looks amazing.
Noushi - I had to comment on the book "A certain slant of light". I love that book too but not many people have read it. Did you know she just wrote a sequel? Haven't read it yet but thought I would let you know.  Wink

What a fabulous package! I love the embroidered photo, am intrigued by the sea salt, and love the shell necklace.  I haven't been to Hawaii since I was like 13 but shell necklaces were always a must!  My parents were in Waikiki at the end of May and brought my son home a pooka shell necklace that he didn't take off all summer.  Go figure it got broken the first week of school Sad  I am going to order him a new one even though he says it's not the same since grandma didn't give it to him.  Oh and I LOVE the turtle stamp!!!!
