I love the cartoon, but do I believe in the great pumpkin like I believe in fairies, gnomes, or mermaids?  no.  Don't ask me why....  no one said beliefs made sense!  lol

I love Charlie Brown. Sadly my VCR was donated to Goodwill. I'll have to find out if it's on DVD.

Ok, sorry to any I may offend...... but I really hate Charlie Brown.  Tongue

Ha, ha, I always hated that cartoon too!  Just specifically the Great Pumpkin episode because I just could never figure out what the heck the Great Pumpkin was supposed to be. Very frustrating for a curious child.

My dad loves that movie. I was always more partial to the Halloweentown trilogy.

I'm not attached to your world, nothing heals, nothing grows... we used to love ourselves, we used to love one another.

life is no cabaret- we don't care what you say, we're inviting you anyway, you mf'ers, you'll sing someday!

I believe in the spirit of the Big Pumpkin!   and pumpkin spice bread and pumpkin cheesecake and .... Wink

I'll be heading out of town for a camping trip soon and will be incommunicado for a week (no cell phone service in the woods, let only Wifi!).  I'm bringing various supplies with me and will be working on most of my remaining projects with the loons on the lake!  I can't wait!

Check in Question: Do you believe in the Great Pumpkin?

When I was a kid, my mom would put together a pumpkin basket, like an Easter basket, from the Great Pumpkin. Of course I believe!  Cheesy
That is awesome!! I was never into believing in the great pumpkin but monsters on the other hand were often lurking about. I am sure of it!

I started (okay, I always watch) Halloweenish movies and scary movies to get me more in the spirit. Summer is winding down for me and now I want fall. The last week in August always reminds me of back to school and fall.
