I can't do the horror/gore movies.  As far as Halloween movies are concerned I like Practical Magic, Hocus Pocus and the Craft.  Now books - different story!  I read Kelley Armstrong, Kim Harrison, Yasmine Galenorn, Laurell K. Hamilton, Gail Z. Martin, George R.R. Martin and so many others with magic and witches and werewolves and ghosts, etc.

Oh yeah, I read a LOT of vampire books too and a TON of urban fantasy! Like 90 books a year normally of the stuff. Cheesy

And I have to admit, even though I hate zombies normally, Shawn of the Dead was hysterical. Grin

Hmm, favorite scary movie? Cabin in the woods, because it pokes fun at all of the teen thrillers. Also, Joss Whedon!

However, scariest movie would (so far) have to be the old Amnityville Horror. Most scary movies I find dull, but that one actually gave me the creeps.
I love the old classics and suspense movies.  Two movies that still scare me are The Shining (Jack Nicholson is soooo believable as a nutter!) and Wait Until Dark (Audrey Hepburn as a blind woman being stalked).
Me too Calixita! Have you seen The Shining miniseries that came out in the 90's? I think it's even scarier (though I can't say "better" necessarily because the original is such a classic).

And of course, Shaun of the Dead is just awesome, Zombieland too.

In crafting news, plotting things, but I'm going to get some other stuff out the door, plus figure out what I have for craft supplies in two different houses before I go shopping.

I finished one item yesterday  Grin  I'll be working on some more today, I'm dying my hair with Henna for the first time today and to get it black it will take around 6 hours. So LOTS of time to sit around and work on things  Cheesy

As for books I LOVE The Forest of Hands and Teeth and the others in that series. Also Day By Day Armageddon and the Walking Dead comics.

I just thought of another movie that scared the crap out of me when I was a little kid. Salem's Lot... the kids scratching at the window and floating in and the bald man thats what I call the creepy guy. I was really young when I watch that and it scarred me lol Wink

Got a lot of ideas going...I have to go through my supplies to see if I need anything. I won't be able to get some of the extras until the stores bring out the Halloween stuff (which shouldn't be long Wink)!

Favorite scary movie? I don't usually watch scary movies but I like the Scream series. I like that they make fun of scary movies in general ..plus they remind me of the 90's in which I was a teen lol!
