I can't wait to get started crafting! I've been stalking my partner and writing down ideas. Now I need a trip to the craft store and to order some supplies online. So excited!

Hopefully everyone has heard from their partners and are busy planning and crafting. If you haven't heard from them yet, please let us know.

I think we should have a weekly check in just to make sure everyone is still here with us.  How about a weekly question every Friday??

We will start this week with What is your favorite scary movie?  Mine is probably the first Halloween.  I also like Jeepers Creepers, 80's stuff like Nightmare on Elm Street, 28 Days Later, and really cheesy stuff.  I DO NOT like what passes for horror these days.  It's either watered down PG-13 stuff or super gory.  Gory does not equal scary to me, it's just gross!

Oh! Good question! I have so many! I prefer classic horror movies from 1930-1950 and silly horror movies. Scariest movie....hmmm....really any ghost story. Something that can attack you and you can't see. SCARY! I absolute hate the "torture gore" stuff.

I am with you!!!  I can't stand it.. like the Saw movies?  Yuck.

My favorite horror is probably Dawn of the Dead (the new one).  Zombie baby!!!

I detest blood, guts, and gore.  I don't like scary, so I don't have any favorite scary movies.

I couldn't agree more! I also don't like all of the recent remakes. Halloween, Nightmare on Elm St., and Texas Chainsaw Massacre have a certain charm that only comes from a 70's/80's horror movie. It just didn't need to be done.

My favorites are the classic Universal monster movies, especially Frankenstein and The Bride of Frankenstein.  Also Poltergeist scared the bejeezus out of me as a child.

On a crafting note, I have some things planned out and even did a little bit of supply shopping this morning. I can't believe they're already putting fall stuff out!

I also don't like the gore but even the 70s and 80s versions of Halloween and Nightmare on Elm St. are too gory for me - at least they were when I was a teenager;  I haven't seen them since.  What a wuss I am!  Roll Eyes  I love the old classics and suspense movies.  Two movies that still scare me are The Shining (Jack Nicholson is soooo believable as a nutter!) and Wait Until Dark (Audrey Hepburn as a blind woman being stalked).
