I sent a picture of one of my previous seaside scenes to a friend. She said: "I want one, but with canoes!". So here is my attempt at doing what she asked for.

This is another one I am finishing today.

As before, they are about 12cm square.

These are so great and retailed. They are both fun, but think the sailboats are my favorite. Smiley

Do you do a sketch before working with the glass or just work?

I usually find a real scene that I like and make a sketch from that.
and this one became the one with the canoes . The first one is Galway Bay, Ireland. The second one is of Whitby Harbour, UK

Well done, Bendog! What kind of paint are you using for the details on the buildings? Glassline?

I was just talking today about getting Glassline paint. At the moment I am using glass paint that you bake at 160C to make permanent.
