So back when we had an epic amount of snow in January (....well lots of snow for Bath anyway lol) we had a mini photo opportunity in the park behind my house.  These were the results:

My authentic Tudor garb....

And Viking garb....

I am in love with both these outfits  Grin

Thanks so much everyone!! It was great fun getting these pictures, we had so many weird looks from kids out having snowball fights!!! Haha.

Very nice!
Do they keep you warm?

They did keep me surprisingly warm actually  Grin  Although we weren't out there for very long...so I think if we did an event when it was this cold would definitely have to get researching some proper authentic undergarments which would help with the warmth. The Viking was definitely much warmer though, as there were more thick woolen layers - this outfit is a nightmare in the summer, you just roast!  If I had a woolen partlet for the Tudor, rather than a thin linen one then it would have been nice and warm in that too Smiley

What extremely fantastic pictures. They look straight out of the times!!! And that hair! Adds to the look of authentically of the times.

Thank you!!!  The hair is seriously long now!!   Grin
