Using Crochet in Color’s pattern as a template I modified it to create my 10th/11th Doctor Who themed gloves.

Fingerless Glove Pattern-Adult

Staring Round: 25 Foundation Double Crochet Row

Rounds 2-4: Chain 3, Double Crochet each row

Round 6:
Right Mitt (thumb opening): Chain 3, Double Crochet in next stitch, Chain 9, skip next 3 stitches. Double Crochet rest of the way around.

Left Mitt (thumb opening): Chain 3, Double Crochet around to the last 3 stitches, chain 9, skip last 3 stitches and join to first double crochet of round.

Both mitts

NOTE: From rounds 7-12, use two decreases in each round where needed, I like to put them near the thumbhole to tighten the wrist area.

Round 7: Chain 3, Double Crochet
Round 8: Chain 3, Double Crochet with two decreases
Round 9: Chain 3, Double Crochet

Rounds 10-12: Chain 3, Double Crochet each row with two decreases

Round 13: Chain 3, Double Crochet

NOTE: If you want the gloves to be longer than wrist length, after round 13 keep going with double crochet rounds until you are happy with the length.

Round 14: Chain 4, Triple Crochet

Finish the glove by weaving in all ends.

Bow Pattern

Starting Round: Chain 20, leave a decent tail
Rounds 2-4: half double crochet

Finish, leave a decent tail

Weave both tails upper and lower to the center of the patch and then wrap them around the center to make the bow tie. Knot them on the back and leave the tails.

Attach the bow ties to the glove using the tails to wrap through the glove and knot them.

Done!
