So in the last poppet swap my partner had a lot of interests and I picked two to combine:
Wednesday Addams and mermaids.
I went with the mermaid Silhouette and and gave it a Wednesdayish color scheme and her pigtails of course.

starfish boobies!

here is a better look at her scales. I painted the back of fabric scraps with fabric glue and then cut and sewed on every scale individually. So worth the patience I think ;-) They gradient in size too.

and since she i a bad ass shes got a tattoo

handpainted eyes

and her pet dead fishy

Do you think she is weired?

I like this a lot, especially the scale detail.  And I love that she has a pet dead fish!

Yes, she is weird, but what's wrong with that?  Nothin!  Weird's the new black!  And the scales are great.

Scholars and artists...differ most importantly in the way their knowledge is come by.  Scholars get theirs with conscientious thoroughness along projected lines of logic; poets...stick to nothing deliberately, but let what will stick to them like burrs where they walk in the fields.

The pictures do not do her justice!!! She is amazing. The tail is mind boogling all the tiny scales. Glamis has amazing patience. More then me.

I prefer quirky then weird.
