So today was feathers, i cut 5 different ones to allow for varied arrangements...

this is on some fabric I tie-dyed a million years ago.

and a close up

this was on a coarse fabric, so there is a lot of texture in the prints

dense patterned one.

and a totally different arrangement, the ink was starting to run out, but I kept printing as I liked the kind of greyscale effect that was happening.

Time to tear myself away and scrub up, date with pizza and a concert tonight...

Thanks hon... my biggest problem is finding inspiration for something that I want to print! DD has suggested tentacles and Koi carp...they might be next...

re inspiration - how about tools? I made a nice print of a wrench once lol, or household objects like a phone, lamp, wheels, traffic signs, an airplane, vegetables and fruit!

Thanks hon....these aren't screen printed, they are lino cuts. I use speedball screen printing inks, but ink each lino cut individually and place them on the fabric..

love your idea of tools...

thanks MareMare the second from the bottom is the fabric that you sent me.

thanks Mandy...if you choose something that doesn't have to have properly straight lines, then any wobbles are OK... Smiley
