Any Canadian Indie Shopping sites???

Hey...I was just wondering how many Canadian Indie shopping sites there are? The reason why I'm askin is cause I need to get some gifts FAST!!! And I am looking to buy something handmade. I know that there are many great indie shopping sites, but I fear that the shipping may take too long for when I need my products (and if I can save on Duty and shipping thats a bonus).

So if you've got a Canadian site that sells cool stuff... post your link on this thread...and who knows I may just find something I'm looking for.

I'd love to know about this too!  I'm a big supporter of fellow Canadians - nothing against the US, but I'd rather buy at home first - esp considering shipping costs & time!

Have you checked out the DIY sites that are out there?  They do let us Canadians in *lol* so there might be a few . . .

And are you looking for anything in particular?  I know a few CDN Indie sites . . . well why don't I just list them:

let me draw you attention to the blue house - a small toronto-based collective of which i am a small part.

not all the sellers are from canada (but many are) and the prices are all in american dollars (for what reason, i do not know).

it's also full of great indie music.

but there are  crafts and prints and other little arts all over the site.
