Okay ... so it's Thursday ... it has to be Friday somewhere!!

This is a brown Shetland plied with a purple Mohair/Alpaca.  250 yards

And a electric green 2-ply Corriedale (30 grams / 130 yards).  I dyed this roving a couple of years ago & just found it!!

Next up is another hand dyed Corriedale 44 grams

Gorgeous! I love that first one.  beautiful hues and tones of purple in there.  Subtle, but just enough!  That green is BRIGHT.  and I can't wait to see the corriedale spun up.

I totally just remembered I have yarns to share!!  Both are freely spun, or "art yarns" if you will.

Yarn 1- From Soul Fibre Studio, a 3.4oz Art Batt.  Core spun, coiled, and then coiled again.  ~4 yards

And a batt I won from By The Fibreside Podcast/blog.  I corespun, coiled and plied it upon itself.  3 yards.

Thanks! The second one will be a necklace (or 2)  and the first I'm still undecided about. I think I'm going to save it for trim on the Landskin I really want to make...

Bella, WOW! Those are cool! I mean, those are really really cool. I'm impressed.

Thanks!! The best part is that I was mostly trying to achieve balance! lol  I love how they turned out though.  They were fun to spin!

Okay ... this:

became this tonight:  About 130 yards.  I haven't washed it yet, so I'm not sure how it will bloom on me.

In the meantime, I have been harvesting radishes from the garden, slicing & dehydrating them, then grinding them up (I use it in my seasoning powder).  When I rinsed my blender, I had a beautiful pinkish/purple water.  What's a fiber artist to do??  Yup, I added some vinegar and stuck some washed locks into it.

Ahhh, just a tinge of pink, SO ...

grabbed some pink dye & spot added it.

It still reminds me of a radish at this point!!
