My sister spent three years in Kenya teaching physics at a girls school through the Peace Corps.  Making a quilt for her for Christmas, I used her Kenya adventure as inspiration.
 

I also pieced the back so that it is two quilts in one. . . You can see the stippling here, as well.

Great colours, patterns, pitching.
And it does have a Kenya feel to it.

So beautiful!  My son also spent time in Kenya and these are some of the colors on the items he brought home as mementoes.
