Hello everyone, I couldn't find an intro board so just thought I'd post here. I'm currently working with polymer clay as a main hobby but I've gotten my interest peaked in Plushies. I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any advice or tips on how to get started or point me in the right direction. I'm hoping to keep my Plushies in line with my polymer clay work which focuses on reptiles, birds and some odd video game related things.

Thank you so much in advance and sorry if I missed the intro board.

Getting started...

ask questions first...
Where are you going to work from?
Are you hand sewing or using a machine or both?
Do you have all the required items to make your plushies?
(I'm not counting the fabrics as this goes without saying, I'm referring to
all the different colored threads, scissors, tapes... seam ripper etc....)
Is your local craft store close by to get "last minute items?" if not make sure you plan ahead for projects.

Also one of the big things I always ask.. CAN you make your own patterns? If not you may want to try and experiment and learn how to make your own with a method that works for you. (otherwise you may be spending a lot of money on patterns)

If you have other questions feel free to ask Smiley
