Deby So Sew Easy

This was my first attempt at drafting my own pattern.  I live in the lovely Cayman Islands and you can't buy sewing patterns here, so when I want to sew I often make it up as I go along.
There is also not much choice when it comes to fabric, so my first try at this blouse was from some flowery chiffon in the remnant bin that was supposed to be sheer curtains I'm sure!

But I loved this so much that I went out and bought my first ever piece of fabric off the bolt.  Its a lovely embroidered chiffon with little sparkles and its perfect for when you want that subtle mix of casual and comfy but pretty at the same time.

If you would like to know how to draft your own pattern and make the blouse, I have a tutorial here - http://so-sew-easy.com/double-layer-chiffon-blouse-pattern-and-tutorial/

Thank you.  This style is perfect for the lovely weather we get everyday here in the Cayman Islands.  Loose, cool and comfortable but smarter than a t-shirt.
