I currently use a Singer Brilliance and it is not so good. The bobbin always birdnests and its bobbin winder makes lopsided bobbins which probably doesn't help...

I'm not a total beginner, but I'm not super advanced either. Mainly taught myself with trial, error, and internet tutorials. Well, I mainly use straight stitch and one of button stitches to do embroidery-ish stuff. Sort of want to get an embroidery machine, but I'm not sure if I would use it enough to warrant the cost of getting one.

I sell at anime conventions in the artist alley and have an etsy shop. I sew here and there, but will have like month-long sewing rampages before a convention and before Christmas.

I primarily sew doll clothes, plushies, and fleece scoodies. So I'm looking for something tough enough to sew through layers of fleece with reckless abandon, but also able to handle itty-bitty delicate things. Well, the smallest doll I sew for is the Monster High doll.

Some people I know told me to get an industrial machine? I'm not so sure about it.
