For the Summer Nerd Games I did this embroidery of Steerpike of Gormenghast, post-burning, inspired by Fuchsia’s poem:

"How white and scarlet is that face!
Who knows, in some unusual place
The colored heroes are alight
With faces made of red and white."

Thank you!   I certainly seem stuck in the black, white and red color scheme.   Cheesy  But I'm planning something with a completely different palette.  Embroidery is being a fun challenge.  I have a lot to learn, especially about how to place stitches more carefully and keep even tension.
