Being as I am a huge dinosaur lover, when I saw Nolansmomster's amazing dinosaur garden, that her and her son made for her mom for Mother's Day, I KNEW that I had to make one. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find as cool of succulents in my area as she was able to, but I still loved how it turned out!

Plus, I love the fact that even my less-than green thumb will more than likely not kill this project. Wink

All in all, the project was only a couple of dollars ($1 for the rocks, $1 for the dinosaurs, $1 for the blue jewels, $1 for the moss $3 for the baking dish, dirt I stole from my dad's recently planted garden- though don't tell him that- and hens/ chickens from my sister's MIL who graciously donated them after hearing the cause Wink =$7 overall).

Again, huge thanks to Nolanmomster for the wonderful idea!

Oh! That's what we call the type of succulent that I used- hens and chickens (I'm none too sure what they call them elsewhere!) Cheesy

Oh, I see!!  Grin Grin I thought it might be some kind of clever joke around dinosaurs being the ancestors of chickens or something like that.
