My own version of Attic24's "Summer Garden Throw" (link to her original post: http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/2009/05/the-square-throw-tadah.html)

I used Caron Simply Soft (which I kind of regret, but I like the colors!). Took me about 9 months off and on (there were a couple big breaks) for the blanket and only a week off and on for the pillow.

More on the blanket/pillow in my blog: http://two-forty-six.blogspot.com/2013/06/the-big-ta-dah-summer-garden-throw.html.

Hope you guys like it!

Wow, those are beautiful! I really like the colors you chose and how you put them together. Why do you regret using the Caron Simply Soft yarn? Is it not holding up well?

Thank you all for the nice words!

Cankle - I just feel like in the long run it won't hold up too well or look as nice. (I could be wrong!) The yarn has a slight fuzzy look to it when it's brand new and I feel like it might just get fuzzier and fuzzier looking the longer we use it. I do hope I'm wrong...I'm in love with this blanket!

Love your color choices. I really like Caron simply soft, well the color selection and the softness of it. I have some in my stash that I bought to make a sweater out of (that I have since frogged) so I agree with you with the initial fuzziness. Hope it holds up for you.
