Woops!! Looks like I missed the Saturday check-in! No excuses, but I do work a 9-5 desk job, and try to distance myself from the computer on the weekend! Thanks for partnering us up so quickly, bandh! Can't wait to get swapping, bec! I think I already have some teeny hoops in my stash, so just to go figure out which ones qualify for the 4inch rule, and get crafting! I think I might have an idea for where i'm going. Smiley

Also forgot check-ins... Been trying in vain to track down the one supply that will make my idea super-awesome without paying a stupid amount for something I'm going to tear apart and repurpose. I have a back-up plan, but it's just not the same. I had a brainwave earlier as to where I might find what I need so I'll check that out tomorrow hopefully. I'm grouchy that I couldn't get everything done before today because now my mum is visiting for a few weeks so I'll have even less time to get stuff done.

I had an idea on what I wanted to do, then started pulling out supplies and got over-whelmed.  Back to planning..but I have another idea very similar, maybe even cooler than what I was originally thinking.

I sketched a plan that I really like last night, but he's looking oddly like a monkey.  Something tells me Titaniumhip won't mind, though;

Hi Noodle-bug!
Went to two craft stores, and neither one had a 4" hoop. Bugger. I'll try another tomorrow, and by golly they'd better have one. 'Else I'd have to make my own, or something equally crazy.
If you need me to send you a 4" hoop, I will.  Let me know if you don't find one. Smiley

Thanks for the offer, but I finally found one! Sheesh. At one store, when I asked if they had any more 4" hoops, the lady directed me to the quilting hoop area (um, not even close. Nice try though!).

At any rate, I've got my hoop and fabrics and most of an idea and now that it's my day off I get to start crafting! Smiley

I just happened to have two 3 inch hoops in my stash.  I figured out what I am going to do and have started to cut out the pieces I am planning to use.

I had a stroke of genius today, and have my hoopla almost finished! I have a few "accessories" that will complete my monster, and then it will be ready to send. Both my kids say it's "awesome!" Phew...I gotta say, s/he/it is looking pretty cool, myself!
