When we were in the process of a complete tear down and rebuild of our home last year I vowed to make a dent in my scrap bucket. So much so, that when we moved in to our Mint Green Apartment I only took the scrap bin. Smiley

And then I made 400 4inch string blocks. Wink

As I try to finish off premade tops I pulled this one down. And decided it would be a random act of kindness gift. I sandwiched. And quilted and made the orange binding  and dropped it in a friends doorway. Smiley they were pleased and i cleared up space to make a new top. And i learned machine binding.
This one is huge! About 70x70 inches.

Mad skills indeed! I think I'd faint if I received a gift like this. Honestly, I'm super impressed you could even part with it at all!

There's a few close ups. It is a dark and dreary cold day today. It is quite bright. Smiley
