Today, tomorrow what's the difference?   Grin  Wink  Cheesy  If you need a wee little push, you could open today, and put my mind at ease.  I've been wondering if everything arrived in one piece.  Also, Gregory will be able to take one of his presents w/him to grandma's.  Smiley

I always open on Christmas eve  so the 24th would be my official opening date, at least in my mind it makes sense.  I am working then I have to teach a certification class all week from 5 to 9 so it may be the weekend before I can get pictures posted!!!!

drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrum rolls - sopranos - trumpets and sleighbells
ITTTTTTTTTTSSSSS Christmas, - but I shall be honest now and say I opened last night, as I wanted to keep any gifts for the children put aside for the actual December Christmas (I had said in my questionnaire that we are having a handmade Christmas this year ) And boy oh boy, my children will be in heaven Smiley

Thankyou so so so much teapot - you did an amazing job, especially given that we had a few blips in communication with messages not getting through........

Firstly though, may I present my Summer Christmas tree (doesn't that Sunflower look unreal !!! But I promise you it actually grew in my garden !)

And here is my husband and my summer Christmas dinner...... pea dahl with coconut fried turkey and seasonal greens Smiley

And here are the gifts under the tree, with one very large one already unwrapped (I assure you it was already that way)

So now the opening begins......
firstly, Ms Teapot - you have killed a Christmas fairy with your cheeky fib !!! You said you couldn't sew, but this cat will be Ebbons bedtime teddy forever when he sees it !!!

I just love its slightly irritated expression, looks so like my son when he's sulking

Now onto Kaydens treasure. He likes catching butterflies and dreaming about fairies. So Teapot combined the two and with polymer crafting fingers of heavenly capabilities - she has made this wonderful jarred fairy. I LOVE IT - not sure I can give it to him.................... just look at the toes !

Now onto Helenes treasure. She is our rather wonderful soul daughter, in that she came to live with us rather than from us. She has had a tricky old life and joined us when she was 17. She is now 19 and well into anything black deathly and slightly gothic - like most 19 year olds I think. She is going to LOVE LOVE LOVE this

Now if that all wasn't enough, teapot obviously read about my fetish for wrapping - and so she made me 4 colour themed gift wrap packs with paper, ribbons and tags Smiley  (sorry I seem to have forgotton to take photo of one colour theme !!!!) ----- note they are all child themed too, theres a whimsical fairy like one for Kayden, a cat themed pack for Ebbon, a gothic black and white one for Helene and a Christmas themed one.

I cannot thankyou enough xxxxxx what a great swap Smiley

Wow!  That fairy is so detailed and the wings look so delicate!  What an awesome package overall, and I am so glad nothing was broken on that long journey.

Your dinner looks delicious too, love all the summer veggies.  There is somthing ver Dr Seuss-ish about your tree, and it makes me smile.

OK, I think someone has gone and cleared out some things in the storeroom without my knowing about it - my bright blue mini tree is gone!

Oh well, my Christmas dcor is definitely pared down then - I brought the official OVERLORD OF THE NORTH himself, Santa to oversee the opening.  As you can see, I interrupted him in the middle of a fishing trip.  I hope this doesn't land me on his naughty list....

He is settled quite comfortably on a crocheted tree skirt I made years ago.

And I opened my main package today - here are the wrapped goodies I got from kbrison - I especially love the red snowflake tissue paper.  I am still waiting to open though.  Patience, patience, patience....
