Hubby's birthday is approaching and I need some help.  I had bought a album months back with the ideas of starting up hubbys collection, but that fizzled.  So now I have an album (with its cover) and want to make it into a clock....

I know i need a clock thingy, but I am looking ideas for the numbers.  Do they come on a template or something?  Could I possibly find a clear circle insert with the numbers on them?  I don't want to destroy the album (aside for putting a hold in the middle of it.....).

Any ideas?

if you don't want to glue or adhere numbers directly to the surface, you could
just mount the mechanism and leave the surface with no numbers - most people cen figure out 12, 3 , 6, 9 positions, and extrapolate from that.  or you could get a plasic or glass cover of some kind that you can either mount behind or over the mechanism, and put the numbers on that.  You can get numbers where you get the mechanism, order the from craft on line stores, or use the vinyl stickers the use for sugnage, like at Staples, or make your own.
