I'm getting an early start on christmas presents this year and this quilt was the first thing I wanted to get nocked off my list.

I have a friend that Just loves sharks and after I found two pieces of shark fabric I knew it was destined to be a quilt.  I've also loved seeing all the the various chevron trends lately and wanted to have a go at making one myself. So I got out my trusty graph paper and colored pencils and designed this one.  It's lap sized, and designed for lounging around on the couch, and backed with flannel for extra warmth.  I'm pretty happy with how it came out It's all hand quilted along the zig zags, and each whole shark is quilted around.

and an example of one of the sharks

Thanks for looking.

Gorgeous!  Your colors are wonderful, and the shark fabric looks excellent.  That's such a neat pattern!
